Claire Beeley Yoga

Experience a systematic method for inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation, that takes you into a state (alpha) as deep as sleep, while remaining mentally present.  The body starts to relax and the mind follows, normalising blood pressure, strengthening the immune system and relaxing the organs and senses, in a way that conventional sleep cannot.

As the mind turns inward, concentration, memory, insight and creativity develop.  You expand your consciousness to all parts of your being, becoming present.  The practice of (sense withdrawel) requires only the effort of your attention, and without the effort to understand, think or control anything.

30 minutes of yoga relaxation is equivalent to 2 hours of conventional sleep

Scientific research says that through yoga relaxation techniques we are not only relaxing, but restructuring and reforming our whole personality from within and at the subconcious level.  With every session we are burning old habits much quicker than other systems which work on an external basis only, and the results are more reliable and permanent.

Relaxation is ultimately the secret to transformation.  When we are under tension, and stressed our behaviour is influenced in a negative way, and when we relax we become natural.  We know the reality, and we see more clearly. Then, we also know how to behave. Seeing the bigger picture is necessary for appropriate behaviour.

"...Claire’s deep insight into yogic practices and teachings have deepened my understanding of my work and my own life choices. Under Claire’s guidance I have developed a new practice of meditation (using her excellent CD) which has been hugely helpful with my day-to-day energy management..."

“Activity and rest are two vital aspects of life. To find a balance in them is a skill in itself. Wisdom is knowing when to have rest, when to have activity, and how much of each to have. Finding them in each other - activity in rest and rest in activity - is the ultimate freedom.”

― Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
